Hot Investment Tool

With the surging prices of Gold and Silver, it has become interesting how slowly the masses are diving in to this particular investment tool. For instance, the price of silver has validated 200x since I became aware of this phenomenon and even if it is pegged at $29-30 per ounce, this white metal is still considered cheap.

There are many groups advocating the diversifying of assets to include the metals. My coin on the matter is that it is not early, but definitely it is not too late. If you know a good source of silver or a foundry that can help you find some then by all means, get some!

Many of the sources on the web are advocating various forms of owning metals. Websites like goldsilver.com, goldmoney, etc. These are all fine yet tailored to foreigners. For the average Filipino who has to pay an exorbitant mailing fee plus the preying eyes of Custom officials of your "attractive" cargo, this may be too risky.

This will entail a little imagination on the part of the metal investor. There are indeed many sources in the local scene that can be made a viable source for metals. But that is for you to study and find out where.

Feeling the GRUNT

Recently, I have received a barrage of emails from readers as to where and how to get precious metals in the Philippines. Like me, these people have already been aware of the worsening global crisis as the world economy wakes up to a new world order where the rules of money will change. And of course, like me these people want to take action and protect themselves from slavery (economic) and come out able in the face of economic ruin. And like me, they have experienced the frustration of trying to acquire metals for themselves in actuality or in a metal account haven.

I have responded to all emails telling our friends to call me to discuss varied options as to owning metals at this time. Just give me an email and I will share what I know and open the door for you to own your metals either in an account or in actuality. In a recent article, I have discussed a new way of owning gold and silver in the Philippines and I want to formally announce that the system that I was investigating WORKS and is trustworthy. The method is quite simple and for more information, please email me and we will set-up an appointment and discuss your options.

Increased Awareness

Recently, i read many threads and forums in PinoyMoney Talk on the subject of Metals Investing. There were responders, newbies and those who have acted on the pressing need to own metal.

There were sites also recommended by Pinoys abroad like GoldMoney (I use this), BullionVault, Gold Seek and yes, even Ebay for sources of having the metals. We are not endorsing any of these sites, but please, for your own protection, please check the integrity and the safety of your metals before indulging the services of any of these vendors. You might want to take a look at if it is Insured and constantly being audited, also ease of use and the ability of a vendor to cater to the smallest investor is also a big bonus.

There were others in that forum that even went as far as recommending ETFs,which in my opinion is very dangerous since the fund in itself is not reliable. Others have went to numismatics as a hedge for the coming economic storm. Whatever you take, the road is wide, as long as you know what you are doing.

Of significance is the advice to hold the metals in your own keeping--I think that this would be one of the greatest sources of confidence in trying times. One can start owning the 'popcorn' form from the mines and eventually when there is a budget to turn them into bars then this can be done at a reasonable costs. (we can help you with this)

I am glad that many Pinoys are beginning to understand the advocacy that we are having in educating the masses regarding this very urgent and pressing matter.

There is another Pinoy with an educational site regarding investing in the metals and this is his site.

Be Well!
